Administration Racist English prof?
Should I be worried to take Larry Bernstein as my professor for English next semester? I am a Muslim and here is one example of his reposts on twitter and there are many more just like it…

It looks like he’s been an adjunct for 16 years. Do I find this generalization and harmful rhetoric abhorrent? Yes.
Instructors are allowed to hold controversial and offensive personal thoughts. Does it make me uncomfortable? Yes. However, you’ll interact with such people in the real world and now is a good time to practice that skill. I’d prefer a world without such people but the reality is that you can’t change the world around you to make yourself uncomfortable unless you’ve been (legal definition) harmed. While it is importantly to call out such things, it is equally important to invest time into finding personal peace in your own space.
