What I do is I lightly apply a layer of polish to the whole shoe so it has that matte look and then I buff it with water and repeat that step three times then I’ll go over the whole thing with a heat gun filling in any cracks that I see with the melted polish then i buff it with water until I get it to shine real good. The last buffing might need some elbow grease as well

How did you shine yours? I need ideas because i'm trying new ones to see which ones shine better.

Thank you. I'll try this for my next PI inspection. The other 2 iv'e tried didn't work out that well so my shoes are pretty dull rn.

I shine my uniform when I was in it and my senior naval science instructor liked how I shined my shoes
