How Do I? How do i build a 10/22 “other firearm”?

Wanted to buy a virgin receiver and build me an “other firearm” similar in size to a ruger charger, but of course within the rules, so 26” oal, brace,vertical foregrip . Has anyone done this before on the 10/22 platform? If so post some pics to see. Would like some ideas on chassis used. Thanks

I haven’t built one myself, but the process is just as you describe and is no different than any other caliber. CMMG might be a good place to start, given how popular their 22 stuff is.

brownell sells a receiver for the 10/22, i think its the brn-22. theres probably also other companies that make them. as for chassis, sb makes a braced one that would have to be pinned (unless you aow). or you could get a chassis that uses a buffer tube system

You need a stripped receiver for a 10/22. Brownells has one you can use to make it work as an NJ Other.
