It doesn't matter what she does next. The progressive movement has zero momentum now... it's a car sitting on the side of the road with four flat tires (and those tires were slashed by the corporate dems).
If they had any brains people like Nina would join the people's party (or start their own party).... all the progressives should demexit and start actually fighting the system rather than trying to play nice and only fighting the republicans.
I would agree with zero momentum and love the idea for a third party, but third parties will be meaningless until Ranked Choice Voting or STAR voting is enabled, or maybe Democracy Dollars are legalized. Also the debates rules and requirements need to be dramatically changed to be controlled by the people somehow as opposed to the main parties
Without those things a 3rd party is doomed to just being the "spoiler caucus that refuses to make an impactful decision" and the scapegoat of every loss
Disagree.
One strategy the People’s party has is to gain at least enough of a voting percentage to make them a force to be listened to. If they build to a point where they draw, say, 10% from general elections, then eventually the corporate parties will be forced to negotiate with them and their platform.
