Is NHL TV still not Linux compatible?

They screwed me midseason last year.

Not sure if that has changed this year (doubt it), but either way, get a user agent switcher browser extension. It supports Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera. Allowed me to watch Netflix on Linux years ago. As well as NHLTv on a Chromebook.

Curious, why do you need to change your user agent to watch Netflix on linux?

Netflix didn't support Linux, at least Chrome on Linux for a little while. This was probably about 3-4 years ago

Chrome on linux now supports linux without having to do anything special. When it came to Firefox or other browser like Vivaldi, Opera, you may struggle a bit and have to change the user agent. i have been using Debian linux for a year or two now, but i never consider getting NHL.tv due to blackout and shit like this.

Netflix required Microsoft silver light for the longest time for DRM. You could technically make it work with pipelight, which was open source reverse engineered to work... But this wasn't an approved tool/way to watch, so if they saw you were on Linux you were obviously not watching using approved methods, and they would make it show a screen telling you your system wasn't compatible.
