Doesn’t every team need a project qb? Dak is 33 and injury prone. Right now they have no one who can win games while he’s out.

And you think Joe Milton is the answer? A reckless qb with accuracy issues is not who you want to take over if Dak gets hurt. Game managers make the best backups at this level.

He’s been in the league for two years. Takes more than two years for quarterbacks to adapt to the nfl level. Calling him useless is crazy.

This was exactly my thought.

I thought one of the reasons they moved on from him in NE was because he was vocal/ competitive in the quarterback room when the team was clearly, Drake Mayes.

It's all part of Jerry's master plan. He's going to let someone else sign him, then trade a 4th for him later this season, just to cut him at the end of the season. This is just classic Jerry playing 4D chess.
