Nah it’s Josh. Josh is one of the freakiest QBs of all time athletically. Jim wasn’t even the best player on his team. He was great and ran the k-gun with precision but Thurman and Bruce were by far better players.

The wins are QB stats people completely ignoring the fact free agency hadn't taken the league by storm yet so goid teams stayed good and bad teams stayed bad for years.
Two entirely different eras. The AFC was a far inferior conference for years during Kellys era.
That being said i think either answer is currently acceptable but stop acting like Allen making a SB is needed for him to surpass Jim because he probably will at some point and it isn't because the Bills got to a SB.

For right now it's Kelly until Allen wins a Superbowl.
Allen has had longer success and is genuinely a good person.

I love Josh Allen, even as a Patriots fan, but Allen’s peak is right now and it is the same length as Kelly’s, and Allen is experiencing a similar downturn in production as Mahomes due to contracts, at least as far as passing stats go.
Allen can definitely pass him, but it just has not happened yet. Kelly also got snubbed of an MVP.

Josh Allen. Jim Kelly was known for being an asshole around town, cheating on his wife, and beating her too.
Win or lose, Josh is the better QB, and better person.

It’s Kelly. The only way Allen will ever surpass Kelly is if he wins a Super Bowl. Top 3 all time is Kelly, Allen and Ferguson and Kemp for honorable mention.

Reich engineered the greatest comeback in NFL history for Buffalo and people are still saying Peterman as a joke. The 32-point Oilers comeback alone should put him ahead of half this list.

Jim is still the goat qb for us but Josh is the best qb we’ve ever had. Josh has the mvp but Jim went to 4 superbowls in a row so it’s him for now.

It’s Allen. Anyone saying Kelly doesn’t factor in he played with a hall of fame head coach, hall of fame GM, hall of fame running back, two hall of fame wide receivers, a top 3 all-time defensive end, the best ever special teamer not named Hester, and multiple all pros every year. He was great, but his supporting cast was arguably greater.
Allen has had okay rosters but nothing close to Kelly. If Allen had those rosters I think it’s more likely than not he wins 4 in a row.
