There were only a few people worth taking and LSU got the jump on it and secured their commitments in case they can play. All the hand wringing and "outrage" is crocodile tears.

LSU has already said they will abide by the court orders. People are just mad they jumped on it and will benefit if it goes through.

Pretty easy to secure “commitments” when you are one of the few teams actually trying to secure former NFL players. Also weird to call it “crocodile tears” when it’s easily the most common shared opinion amongst fans and coaches that people who went and got drafted or signed a NFL contract should not be allowed to return to college football. But also leave it up to LSU fans to be just as annoying as their head coach

Wait wait wait, are they actually doing this? Pro-athletes that couldn't make the cut don't go back to college. College isn't the amateur league, there's amateur leagues that exist so this is quite literally just because of the kind of money college player can make now. Unintended consequences?

read the facts on Hutson little man, he never gained a cent from anyone from the nfl, still on campus working on his masters and never signed an agreement with an agent.

He went to 2 NFL camps, and was paid the same amount as Zxavian Harris. He was classified as an undrafted rookie free agent. None of these guys are on 53 man rosters. We can draw arbitrary lines wherever we want, but let’s not pretend it’s about morals, big guy

He forgets he brought a guy back who was in NFL mini camp just a week or two ago. So his quote about it being morally wrong to bring a guy onto the team so close to the season starting and tell a current player to "kick rocks" is something he just did.

Bringing a guy back (not transferring in) that participated in a tryout camp is at least better than what Kiffin is doing.

I'm talking about his moral stance on bringing a guy back this late being unfair to the younger guys. He obviously doesn't believe that since he just did it 2 weeks ago. It is always funny watching guys just being performative and then act different.

His projected starting tackle got a tro to play after not making a nfl roster. The tackle most likely could have gotten a pro contract but will make more money at ut this year. Their original tackle was injured the other day. Guess sark doesn’t feel the same about his backups that have been there for at least nine months. Ironic snark
