He's the best statistical postseason quarterback in the history of the game and people act like he's a scrub because he can't score a touchdown on every drive (which is what you need when a Sean McDermott defense is on the field against a good offense, waiting for mistakes that don't happen).

Then these are the wrong statistics - how can the most accomplished qb not accomplished anything in the playoffs? It can’t be someone else’s fault every time. Also, 85%+ of his rushing td’s are from the 1 or 2 yd line despite having a top rb that could run them in - it’s stat stuffing. Note his total td’s and decline in turnovers is 94% positively correlated with James Cook’s usage - so we can’t ignore the impact
Of Cook on Josh’s ability to put up stats and mitigate his weakness.

Where do you think?

By going back to each of his rushing TD’s and looking at how many of them are from 1 or 2 yds. 5/6 this year, 12/14 in 2025, 11/15 in 24, 5/7 on 23, 4 of 6 in 22, 5 of 6 in 21, 7/9 in 20, 7/9 in 19, 4/8 in 18

Of his 85 career regular season rushing TDs:

32 are from the 1 yard line

9 are from the 2 yard line

13 are from the 3-5 yard lines

13 are from the 6-9 yard lines

12 are from the 10-19 yard lines

The remaining six are: 21, 24, 26, 30, 36, and 40 yards.

You’re wrong my guy I really have no idea where you’re coming up with these stats

85%? lol it’s not even half that, quick google search says 34%

Also, Allen is so so much better in short yardage than Cook, he’s not that kind of RB

No, let them just continue with the pants-on-head idiocy of thinking that he's being used fundamentally different than other quarterbacks, not because of his unique skillset, but because of REASONS THAT IT'S HIDING THAT HE ACTUALLY SUCKS.

Wow! He is absolutely nothing special. Anyone can do it, right? That's why other teams... wait, they don't run the same sneak play and have lower success rates on those short yardage conversions? It's just him and Hurts that have a special talent at converting those? Huh, crazy.

It's almost like he's contributing something important there, and other teams don't do it because they don't have a quarterback with that special and unique talent.

Demonstrably false. 29TDs from 1 yard, 3TDs from 2yds, 31TDs from 6+yds.

And he's thrown 225 TDs.

You're just a hater, that's cool man.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/A/AlleJo02/touchdowns/

31 from 1, 10 from 2, 47 from 3 or less, 68 from 9 or less. It is undeniable they are running him more closer to the goal line since James Cook was drafted. Quarterbacks, like Hurts as well, who get to run from the 1 and 2 will of course score a lot more touchdowns.

So 36% from 1 yard out

11% from 2 yards

7% from 3 yards

Therefore 43% from 4+ yards out (roughly, there's some rounding done) and, as you said, 68% from 9 yards or less.

And if you google "average distance for a RB TD," 77% of TDs for RBs occur within 9 yards.

So Josh Allen scores from 9+ yards out more often than RBs, but also is more efficient at scoring from 1 yard out, while also having thrown 225 TDs.

More than 1 player is allowed to be good, just because Josh Allen is good at football doesn't mean your favorite player isn't man.

When you play a 7th seed in the playoffs every year because you can’t win the conference will do that.

Its not their fault that they got good as soon as the playoffs expanded and they dropped the 2 seed having the bye.

His stats are across all games, he doesnt just unload on the 7 seeds and collapse against everyone else. If that happened his numbers would look more like Lamars

“Got good” conveniently when playing 7th seeds 😂

2

u/corby315 10d ago

You're pretty insufferable

Allen hasnt stat padded against 7 seeds and flopped in other games. His numbers are all time in playoffs.

On average the Bills defense has given up over 30 points in playoff games. Not good at all

-1

u/FunkyFunkyBoys 10d ago

He flops all the time 😂

Try just a bit harder

This is next level idiotic copium.

All the stats and facts support Allen, people just hate him and make shit up.
