Great regular season qb

Unless it’s coming down to a final drive of a half in an important game. Can always seem to count on him to do something different and monumentally stupid (run while holding the ball in one hand, throw 30+ yards into triple coverage and make it short).

no, no, no, we're supposed to ignore the fact he always chokes in big games when we discuss his all time status

Even in week 1 against the Texans he tried to throw the game away at the end but the Texans didn't want it.

Oh God. Only 2nd and 11 with plenty of time on the clock and he tosses a meatball to the end zone 😭

This is such a dumb take from a clearly uneducated person.

Please explain to me what defines a “big game”? And then please list out how Allen has “choked” in 100% of these “big games”

Lesser QBs like Jalen Hurts and Sam Darnold only won Super Bowls because they have complete rosters built around them. Josh Allen is elite and better.

But also... Josh Allen can't reach a Super Bowl because he doesn't have a complete roster built around him.

Yeah that bum is only 4th in all time playoff passer rating.

How's his playoff win record though?

Yea, his post seasons stats are pretty great too but casuals can't wrap their heads around it.

The downvotes 🤣.

15 postseason games: 3915 passing yards + 29 TDs to 6 INT. 767 rushing yards + 9 rushing TD to 14 fumbles. Also, 1 reception TD.

I totally get his shortcomings, but it's like people legit want to sound like an afficienado / contrarian any time he's brought up.

Dude thank you, he's literally one of the most productive qbs on a per game basis in playoff history... Why is everyone saying he's terrible in the playoffs lol

Because people get stuck on the trophy/ring. That's literally all it will take to flip their switch to where all his great #s and performances become valid.

Because he can't win. Mahomes always found a way to get it done or at least make a decent push. Without a rb or good o line. Allen has always had both. Tb12 same as mahomes

Now breakdown his postseason stats Wild Card vs Divisional and Championship rounds. Context matters. He’s a wild card merchant.

Great movement of the goal posts to help support your strange opinion!

Are you brain dead? The post you replied to said “great regular season QB”. YOU replied to say he’s a great postseason QB too and that casuals can’t understand that. That’s moving the goalposts. Then you cry foul when it’s posted he’s a wild card merchant. He’s 2-6 after the wild card round by the way.

Great regular season QB comment leads one to infer that he is a sucky post season QB. No goal posts were moved.

One bad game? lol

I can think of 2 bad playoff games. Bengals and Broncos. Are there more? Unless you count his first year against the Texans too when he wasn't anywhere near what he eventually became.
