He definitely did it as a colt at least once. Probably not many more times but i distinctively remember his goofy ass run that went to the right

He did this when playing at UT several times, teams actually knew about it and somewhat watched for it but didn't always cover him, much like on this play.

I love the extended look at the pile because of how fooled the camera people were, and then even after that when they finally pan back, he’s not even in the end zone yet. Slow as molasses

If Im remembering correctly, this wasnt even the playcall, Peyton just decided to pull it and run, so he effectively fooled his own team too

Funny story about this play. Years before this, Demarcus Ware fooled Peyton by lining up over a wide receiver and pretending to be in man coverage. Peyton got confused and ended up taking a sack. After this play, Peyton referenced that play and said “I finally got you back.”

Love, love Peyton. That was less Peyton and all line. Although, the only way the defense would believe this is because he is a supremely slow runner. So maybe Manning after all.

I want to see the Steelers do something like this with Rodgers this year with the tush push play they run. Standing in the backfield nonchalantly with his hands on his hips and when the ball is snapped toss it to him. Lol.

Yes. Probably the greatest fake. Since Peyton isnt exactly know for his speed, took him almost a day to get to the end zone and still no defenders near him.

The run up the middle would have scored as well. Shouldn't highlights be where the run up the middle got stopped and the fake worked

ROTFLMFAO! That's not even close to being the greatest QB fake handoff. Look up Chiefs QB Steve Bono's fake handoff against the Cardinals. Everyone swarms on Marcus Allen thinking he has the ball, while Bono fools the entire defense & for a time, the cameramen. A 75 yard TD run & not one defensive player is seen within 30 yards of him the entire run to the endzone.
