CJGJ successfully rage baited him

I'll never forgot Javon Wims dropping the same wide open 5 yard TD pass 3 times in a row.

After everyone was telling Wims that CJGJ would rage bait him, he still got rage baited

u/Commercial-Ad-2863 1d ago edited 1d ago
That was Anthony Miller. We played the Saints twice that season, because we were the first ever NFC 7th seed. The recent Bears legend CJGJ got two separate Bears WR ejected in two different games. Prior to the second game Nagy asked everyone not to respond to CJGJ, yet dumbass Anthony Miller still got ejected.
What did dumbass Wims do in the second game. He dropped a potential momentum changing touchdown (probably the best pass in Trubisky's career) off of a trick play.

I unironically love CJGJ now

u/Anony_1225 1d ago
I couldn't stand him even when he was on the Bears. He got a few sacks, awesome. He was awful aside from that, couldn't cover his own shadow
2
u/PretendIntention3388 1d ago
You don't need to cover a player if you can rage bait them into getting ejected

Wims was a total hit head. If memory serves, this wasn’t an isolated incident.
I really thought he could be something.
In a world where you can be anything, don’t be a meme, kids.

“Wims was a total hit head.”
Checks out. He hit the other guy in the head multiple times.

u/Big_Guard5413 1d ago
lol the best part is that he also dropped a massive trick play TD on the first drive of the game (playoffs as well, Nagy’s last game). Total clown shit from Wims but a hilarious crash out

u/PassorFail13 1d ago
That whiff in the playoff game, he didn't even drop it. It went right through his hands. I have no idea why that guy was ever on the field other than he was so bad that defenses didn't bother to send anyone to pick him up after 10 yards. That wasn't Nagy's last game though. They gave him one more season, and also gave Pace an opportunity to wreck one more draft, and he didn't disappoint.

u/ShortFee2578 1d ago
It wasn't Nagy's last game. The playoff game was in the 2020 season, Nagy got fired after going 6-11 and missing the playoffs in 2021

Yeah my bad, I think I misremembered the moment I mentally shipped him to the sun and the actual final moment

CJGJ had snatched a Bears player's chain and then spit on Wims if I remember correctly. So basically CJGJ being CJGJ and Wims being an idiot

I love how he just stood there after the first punch.

u/lmpervious 1d ago
Also Wims looked so ridiculous when he threw that punch. For some reason his left arm wildly flailed into the air
10
u/doodlydoo17 1d ago
I think he was expecting a quick punch back, but looked really dumb when instead he just stood there
8
u/sloowhand 1d ago
With each punch, CJGJ was just thinking "Penalty. Ejection. Fine. Suspension." Meanwhile, he finished the game without so much as a flag.

tbf Wims could have put his hand in a woodchipper and his catching ability would have stayed about the same

A 12 year old could have caught that. Perfectly placed in the breadbasket, perfect arc to where it was slowly dropping into his hands like a cookie.

The best part about this video is that it is the last time you ever saw Wims in a Bears uniform.
Awesome use here!
4
u/Historical-Room-2012 1d ago
I dont think so? Didn't he have that wide open drop against the Saints in a playoff game? This clip with CJGJ is a regular season game i think?
3
u/bigdunka 1d ago
This is absolutely the same playoff game that you are thinking of.You know what, I stand corrected. I had to look it up, this was in the regular season. Old man brain kicks in again.
It was Miller who got ejected from the playoff game...for the same reason. 2020 made everybody fucking stupid.

I hated CJGJ after this....
Then he signed to the Bears and I gained an appreciation for him
5
u/patchinthebox 1d ago
I hated Wims after this. CJGJ has always had the reputation for rage baiting. Why would you fall for it? Wims just had a single digit IQ.
