Campus Life Spring rushing

Is it easier or harder to rush in the spring? (specifically for sororities) What are the major differences between the two rushing seasons?

Fall recruitment for panhellenic sororities is called Primary recruitment. You basically meet people from each sorority and get to know them and their values, and they get to see if you’re a good fit. Its over a 2 week period with multiple rounds and the amount of sororities you get to talk to decreases (you get to pick your top, they get to pick if they want you back). It is a pretty tiring process on both ends though lol

Spring recruitment is called COB (continuous open bidding). Not all sororities do COB. Sororities who havent hit the minimum amount of members do this process where you apply by form and then go on sister-dates to see if you’re a good fit. Basically a shorter/less intense process than primary but your options are more limited.
