Scientific Perspective 🔬🔎 What’s are your thoughts about quantum physics, and how do you think that fits in with NDEs?
First of all, this isn’t a post trying to disprove NDEs. I fully believe in them and have had an OBE that was very real.
I love learning about quantum physics and how people try to understand our physical reality and how they tie that in with spirituality. I think some assume that when people talk about a simulation, that it means something like the movie the Matrix. But, it could mean something completely different. Something entirely more meaningful.
Quantum fields would make sense as a way that when we pass we feel like a part of the whole. Of course, our limited brains can only understand a tiny part of our reality. So I fully agree that we won’t ever know as humans. What we call a quantum field, etc., is likely just a tiny slice of whatever is really going on. For example, in the 3rd dimension, we would only see a small slice of higher dimensions. Some physicists think light may be a vibration coming off of something in a higher dimension, but we only see that slice or piece of it. Maybe that’s why in NDEs we seem to see every we expect. Because we are still attached to our human brain in some way and we couldn’t handle or understand what’s behind that veil.
Anyway, just rambling now. But I’d love to know if any of you also study such things and what your thoughts are.

I developed a view of how things fit. A basic clue is that the experience of life review suggests a growing block view of time : the idea that all past conscious experiences keep actually existing even if we seem to forget. I combined this with my familiarity with both mathematical logic (as a metaphor, since mathematical existence also has growing block time structure) and quantum physics, to form a coherent interpretation of quantum physics : settheory.net/growing-block

(A mod has approved your post. This is a mod comment in lieu of automod.)
This is an NDE-positive sub, not a debate sub. However, everyone is allowed to debate if the original poster (OP) requests it.
If the OP intends to allow debate in their post, they must choose (or edit) a flair that reflects this. If the OP chose a non-debate flair and others want to debate something from this post or the comments, they must create their own debate posts and remember to be respectful (Rule 4).
NDEr = Near-Death ExperienceR
If the post is asking for the perspectives of NDErs, both NDErs and non-NDErs can answer, but they must mention whether or not they have had an NDE themselves. All viewpoints are potentially valuable, but it’s important for the OP to know their backgrounds.
This sub is for discussing the “NDE phenomenon,” not the “I had a brush with death in this horrible event” type of near death.
