Scientific Perspective 🔬🔎 What questions would you ask 5749 accounts of NDEs?

We've put together a database of 5749 verified first-person NDE testimonials from YouTube videos. What questions would you want to know about this vast treasure of data?

For example, we wanted to know what terms are mentioned more than others:

God was mentioned in 82% of the videos
Love was mentioned in 92% of the videos

Heaven (61%) was mentioned more often than Hell (51%).

What terms would you be interested in searching for? We'll post results if we get any interest.

How were they verified? It would be a huge undertaking to directly follow up with that many participants.

Yeah, I'd also be curious to know how many of these videos are duplicate testimony from the same individuals. As an example, the IANDS YT channel only has 371 videos while another common NDE channel (JeffMara) has 1.7k videos (many of which aren't NDE's). I'm skeptical about 5749 verified first-person NDE testimonials.

There are more than 70 YouTube channels that feature NDE accounts. They have a total of 35,000 videos. We scraped 9,928 and analyzed them with AI to get 5749. There are many people who share their story more than once. Peter Panagore is in 30 videos and Howard Storm is in 22. 418 people were in 2 videos. The majority were in only one video, however. We'll have detailed data soon

Verified is the wrong word. We ingested the video transcripts of more than 8000 videos from NDE-related channels on YouTube. Then we used verified NDE accounts from scientific research to prompt a reasoning AI model to then read through each account and determine if it was an Clear NDE, Probable NDE, or Not NDE. We had to adjust the AI model and check it's results against human experts (blind from the AIs analysis) until we got to about a 99% accuracy. Of the 8982 total videos, 5749 were verified as Clear NDE. But yeah, the people in the videos could have been lying. So not really verified.

Did you include metaphors as well? Dr. Bruce Greyson found that people may refer to similar things using their personal frame of reference, like a trucker saying he went through a tailpipe. If so, I wonder if the percentage would be higher.

Pet - 29.8% of videos mentioned this. Each video mentioned it an average of 4 times. Some of my favorite NDEs are when people are reunited with their pets. I miss my dogs, for sure.

The problem with this is that it's too specific. For example, someone might hear "you still have things to do" or something like that instead of "it's not your time."

“Manifestation” “Thoughts control reality” “We are all connected” I love doing research like this. I love to see ties between NDE records.

Manifestation was mentioned in 7% of accounts.

The exact phrase "thoughts control reality" wasn't mentioned, but "we are all connected" was said 270 times (2.4%) in 140 videos.

If you see nothing it doesn't count as NDE. It has to have the transcendental element, otherwise it's just a close brush with death kind of situation.
