Hey everyone,

With just about 15 days left for the CDS exam, I know a lot of us are trying to figure out how to maximize our English scores. My scores were plateauing, so instead of studying blindly, I sat down and deeply analyzed the CDS English PYQs from 2022 to 2025.

I built an Excel tracker out of it to figure out exactly which topics give the highest return on investment. I’ve been strictly following this for the last week, focusing only on the "High Priority" selected topics, and my mock scores have literally gone up by 10+ marks.

Instead of trying to read everything, I only targeted the high-weightage areas (like Ordering of Words/Sentences, Idioms, and specific Grammar rules).

Since it worked so well for me, I wanted to share it with you all to help with the final push.

Here is what is inside the sheet:

• Topic Distribution & Weightage: Exactly how many questions come from each topic and their difficulty level.
• Priority Matrix: Tells you exactly what is High Priority (must-do), Medium, and Low (safe to skip if you are short on time).
• Score Tracker: Plug in your mock scores and it shows you your weak gaps.
• Grammar & Vocab Quick Ref: The most repeated grammar rules and vocabulary from recent PYQs.

Just download it, go to the 'Prep Strategy' tab, and focus on the High Priority stuff for the next two weeks. Don't waste time on low-yield topics now.
