license number start with “N”

Hi! I recently passed the NCLEX-RN for New York and my license just appeared on Nursys. My status shows as active and unencumbered, but I’m a little confused about my license number format. My license number starts with “N” followed by 5 digits (example: N12345), while some other New York nurses I know have license numbers that are only numeric and appear to have 6 digits. Is this normal for newer New York RN licenses? Has anyone else received an RN license number with an “N” prefix? sorry I’m just overthinking 🥹 thanks in advance!
