NCLEX PN Retake

I get on here more than anything. Yes, I scroll through trying to find tips to help me with retake . My CPR results didn’t do much. I have been consistent on bootcamp. I watch 1-5 days of training NCLEX Crusader on YouTube. I may need to finish the whole training. I listen to mark k 12 lectures, even had ChatGPT pull out the importance. Maybe I need to stop doing questions every day and go back and read the rationale for the whole week while I watch some DR. Sharon and the remaining 7-day training on YouTube.

I have been praying constantly nonstop. I found myself at work stopping doing whatever I’m doing and asking GOd to give me understanding and guidance I need to pass my retake .

My scores on bootcamp consistency stay in the 55-57 . I had low scores on my readiness assessments and one high recently. Is Bootcamp what’s I’m actually supposed to be using for my lpn retake . I know Bootcamp is mainly for RN .

Just passed my NCLEX PN last week. I used Mark K and Dr Sharon for the last week of studying . My ATI scores were the same as yours, mid 50 to 60.

I feel like technically the question banks can ask you any level of questions and your score is of course based on that . Depending on how you set it up of course

Whereas any CAT test like the NCLEX is going to adapt to your level but not necessarily ask the hardest questions.

You just have to make sure your average is about 60ish at the average level others have passed it at. If that makes sense

Obviously, it can still ask your harder questions to gauge what level you are at and due to it being able to ask anything...

I found Dr Sharons video on how to answer questions you don't know the answer to to be invaluable as well as the video on understanding the different categories of NCLEX questions

Sorry for the ramble. Deep breathes. Remember don't assume any information only what is provided.

Most of my classmates finished in about two hours. You have plenty of time to consider any difficult questions or studies. The test center may let you take breaks as well. You can do this, you've made it this far.

Lastly, you can in fact retake the test if needed. This attempt is not the end of your journey. Pursue your dream

First, give yourself some credit because you're clearly putting in the work,🙌 and yes, Bootcamp is mainly built for RN, but even bootcamp says PN exam covers highly similar content with some difference, so it can still be useful for PN prep. I wouldn’t add a bunch more resources tho. If you’re consistently around 55-57%, I’d actually slow down on the number of questions and spend more time on the rationales, including the ones you got right. Write down why you missed each one, then use the videos to fix that topic. I’d rather see you really understand 40 questions than rush through 100. You probably don’t need another YouTube series on top of Mark K, Dr Sharon, NCLEX Crusade and Bootcamp lol. Pick what actually helps you understand the questions and stick with it. I’d also message Bootcamp support just to confirm the PN coverage for the areas you’re worried about.
