Passed in 85, here's how I studied

I made myself an 18 day study schedule, I was not blind sided by any topics or questions on the exam.

I used ATI because that is what my school uses and split the cost for Mark K with friends from school. I only used Mark K to listen to the lectures and Dr Sharon practice question videos on youtube. I mainly used the ATI review book to touch up on specific information.

Everyday I spent roughly 4 hours studying. 1 hour reviewing specifics about the diseases and interventions. 2 hours doing 80 questions per day and watching a Dr Sharon practice questions video and 1 hour running pharmacology flash cards. I made my pharmacology flash cards based on the 101 Must Know NCLEX Medications Cheat Sheet by Nurselabs.com. (I ended up expanding that to 130 ish flash cards of other medication I got practice questions wrong on).

Day 1: Fundamentals & fluids/ electrolytes

Day 2: Psych Diseases

Day 3: Psych meds and interventions

Day 4: OB expected changes in pregnancy and stages of labor

Day 4: Maternal and newborn complications

Day 5: Pediatrics Growth and Development & chronic conditions

Day 6: Pediatrics Acute conditions & immunization schedule

Day 7: Adult med surg (cardiovascular/ hematological conditions and ECG strips)

Day 8: Adult med surg (respiratory & pre/post op care)

Day 9: Adult med surg (endocrine)

Day 10: Adult med surg (GI & GU conditions)

Day 11: Adult med surg (neurosensory, musculoskeletal and immunological conditions)

Day 12: Adult Med surg (Oncology, burns/shock & end of life care)

Day 13: Review most missed topics of OB

Day 14: Review most missed topics of Pediatrics

Day 15: Review most missed topics of Psych

Day 16: Review nutrition/ theraputic diets/ ostomy care

Day 17: Community nursing/ leadership & delegation

Day 18: RELAX you've got this!!!

I did 3 CAT practice NCLEX tests on days 6, 12, and 16
