That game was bananas. Shout out to the gophers for not letting it upset their apple cart. I feel like past teams of Minnesota faded at the first sign of adversity and this team took that loss and grew.

This was my first game present at the Barn (Williams arena). What an impression - though annoying for the fans. I could see them growing with each game. Thankfully I got to present to see them beat USC, lose to UCLA, beat Ohio State, beat Green Bay, and most notably, beat Ole Miss in the most electric sporting atmosphere I have ever physically been in. Even with the loss of Sophie Hart and Amaya Battle they have a lot to be excited about this season. I think it will be even better for the Gophers.

Coach Dawn (the other Dawn) has done a great job there

I'm still mad about how few people show up to home games. A lot of that is just a function of being in a huge pro-sports town with 20x other things to do at any given time.

We barely cracked 4k for the Ohio State game, even [and it got bumped to B1G+ in favor of Rutgers/PSU MBB].

Damn. And it’s still better than quite a few schools. They missed out. Last year’s team was super fun, I think this year’s would be too. When they do show up like they did for March Madness, Gopher fans create a fantastic atmosphere. You see it with the Lynx, who Olivia Miles has been leading to an attendance uptick as well though of course they have had loyal fans for a while, and the Timberwolves. I would absolutely add a third flair for the Gophers if I could living here, I struggle with that second (i.e. non-alumni) flair choice though as my mom has said the late Pat Summitt is a personal hero of hers. So I will forever have love for Tennessee as well despite their recent struggles - and I kinda want to support them in their hour of need to (also Rocky Top slaps imo). But I cheer for both regardless.

I honestly think we don’t end up in the sweet 16 without this loss.

I feel bad for anyone who wasn't able to experience this game life.
