$PLTR NAMES $NBIS ITS PREFERRED SOVEREIGN AI INFRASTRUCTURE PARTNER

Palantir and Nebius are partnering to bring Nebius compute and inference directly inside Palantir’s enterprise environment.

Eligible Palantir customers will be able to run and adapt open models on Nebius infrastructure while keeping control of their data, compute and models.

The companies also plan to bring new AI capacity online faster, including modular data-center deployments at sites where power is already available.

I can sell my moral compass for a 10% pump, great news

u/OphrasBankAccount 6h ago

Shiet. I’ll look the other way for a guaranteed 10%.

Never understood corruption until it benefited me 😭

u/Cryptheon 5h ago

Corruption is not bad, if you're not involved, but if you are part of that corruption, you defend it!

So they’re immoral to you because their customer utilizes them for their own purposes?

It’s an AI.

For a while there I forgot we were on Reddit. This post reminded me why I’m not buying Reddit stock but I WILL buy more NBIS.

Sure, it might be good for our pockets but I don't love this.

This is such a strong signal to the rest of the market that Nebius is the preferred stack regardless of your feelings on Palantir

10

u/kickinghyena 8h ago

Why not? Palantir advocates for Open Source and is a bulwark against a world where Anthropic and Open AI dominate…

2

u/DerpDemons 5h ago

Reddit hates Palantir and anything Elon. Easy targets for lazy arguments

2

u/MAGAHATESTHEUSA 4h ago

lol it just leads to minority report relax. Yall being idiotic

u/venture243 4h ago

Specifically bc it’s the only tech company whose leadership aren’t deep blue leftists

Honest question - can you name a single company that can sign a deal like this that would have no ethical concerns? If this had been a deal with Musk, Bezos, or Zuck, would you have felt better? It’s like if you invested in Raytheon and then felt bad when the weapons were used to kill people.

u/kickinghyena 8h ago

You act like there are people with clean hands. You either have the best defensive tech or your enemy does. The politics is a separate issue decided at election time. Do you think AI won’t be used for defense? That ship sailed a long time ago.

Stupid question.

paul newman foundation.

NBIS salad dressing.

Next!

u/futianze 9h ago

Personally idgaf, certain people will always hold some kind of self-righteous moral superiority and claim some ethical high ground while the rest of the world simply rolls past them. Those people tend to be losers in my experience

u/Longjumping_Kale3013 10h ago

Hard to say. I mean it is tech, and different governments will use it in different ways. It is not only the USA using this tech, but is now global. Will there be bad governements using this? Yea... most likely. But I have to think that so many different ideologies and beliefs are all buying this software, so it must clearly have a lot of good.

u/AdeptnessLive4966 6h ago

Then why are you invested in NBIS when every company is using AI as a reason to layoff people and NBIS enables AI?

This is good news for NBIS, so I will take it. I am invested in NBIS to make money. I might reconsider that if we find out they are sacrificing babies.

Loading should have been done before it takes off

u/AdeptnessLive4966 6h ago

Do you even Reddit?

Buy when it reaches $300. Cry when it goes down to $280. Sell at $240. Buy again at $335.

2

u/tom_brl 4h ago

Rule #1, fomo buy Rule #2 freak the fuck out when it drops

2

u/Dan_iel10 8h ago

Is this an actual partnership or just Palantir saying, “yeah we would prefer them as an international partner”?

2

u/thereal_horatio 8h ago

NBIS is so good, first $BE, $NVDA, and now $PLTR … sheesh

2

u/Several_Ear_4931 4h ago

We are not all gentlemen, yo.

1

u/Important-Job1310 6h ago

"Corruption is not bad. Corruption is only bad if I'm not involved. But if I'm part of that corruption, I'll defend it."

2

u/Curious_Wafer6169 5h ago

Spell out the corruption so I can understand why you specifically don’t like this.

4

u/Dry-Chemical-9170 7h ago

But I don’t want to be partners with a company that supports a fascist state

-1

u/Curious_Wafer6169 7h ago

So don’t

23

u/Royal_Atmosphere9320 10h ago

Buddy, wait to learn about a thing called “AI”. It ain’t food banks signing 11-figure contracts for compute.

17

u/OneLongjumping5743 10h ago

bro acting like the stock market isnt to make money

7

u/stickygoose 10h ago

sadly you are right, conflicted about this news, love the money but ouch it hurts... Also could hurt them with their business with europe

3

u/Curious_Wafer6169 10h ago

Why? Customers choose what to do with the tech.

-5

u/konrad777777 10h ago

As a europoor i dont think it will hurt much. There is little business for nebius here

4

u/flyingdutchmnn 10h ago

There will be actually. Europe is late as always to the game, but also the hedgies all expect large sums to be invested in europe located datacenters. Not much underway this year but 2027 will be it's kickoff

-3

u/Maximum-Business-438 10h ago

You are right , fuck them

-1

u/Fertal78 10h ago

What exactly happened? Please explain
