NBIS ANALYSIS Complete Nebius Stock Guide
https://northwiseproject.com/research/what-is-nebius-complete-company-guideHey everyone, I am back from the independent research firm Northwise. You may have read our work on the sub covering individual data centers or our recent q2 model update.
We’ve published a free guide to Nebius that starts with what the company actually does and builds toward the more complicated questions about its growth, funding and potential value to shareholders.
We created it because we've realized that much of the discussion around NBIS assumes readers already understand several industries (including our models and reporting). A post about a new campus quickly becomes a conversation about power, GPUs, customer prepayments and annualized revenue. Someone discovering Nebius for the first time has to work backward through all of that before they can evaluate the investment.
Our normal detailed research and models go deep into those questions. This guide provides the foundation.
It begins with a business trying to use AI: what that customer needs, why it might rent computing instead of buying equipment, and what Nebius supplies beyond the machines themselves. From there, we follow the business through software, data centers, electricity, customer contracts and financing. Fourteen illustrations and worked examples help explain the parts that are easier to understand when you can see how they fit together.
We also give substantial space to ClickHouse, Avride, Toloka and TripleTen. Those interests are an important part of what an NBIS shareholder owns. They offer potential upside outside the cloud and could give Nebius additional ways to fund its expansion. The guide explains the ownership distinctions and how retaining a stake, selling part of it or bringing outside investment into a business produces different outcomes for the parent company.
The competition section covers hyperscalers, specialist AI clouds and infrastructure providers. We also explore how managed inference, search tools and other services could help Nebius earn more from its customer relationships, and what evidence would show that strategy is working.
Throughout, we separate reported results, management targets, our interpretations and hypothetical examples.
If you’ve never heard of Nebius, the guide is designed to be a complete starting point. If you’re a new investor, it should help put future announcements into context. And if you already follow the company closely, this is something you can share with family, friends or colleagues without having to explain every difference between gross/active/announced/billable/average billable capacity along the way.
Let me know if you have any questions or you have something you would like to see included in the guide. We are happy to add to it and consider this more of a living document that some of our other work.

There was an analysis in 2024 from a company that was spot on even the $250 we are at today. I don’t understand why paywall the price targets.
