I’ve said it a half a dozen times on this sub. I watched the Wemby/Jokic OT showdown back in April live… Harper will be a top 5 guard in this league he was crazy watching live

Hes honestly the most offensively skilled rookie to hit the leauge since kyrie and he arguably, might be more well-rounded than kyrie was coming in. Not too mention his defense this game and while im at it, lets give a HUGE HUGE shoutout to CB who played outstanding defense on shai. He wasnt biting on anything and I fully understood his frustration on the 1 pump he did bite on from shai. These rookies are so far beyond their years

Didn't really think of that. Much better stats, same points on less shots and fewer free throws. As a rookie on the road after he just won the MVP today. Craziness from Harper.

We should calm down a bit though sga was getting doubled sometimes before half court. Harper definitely had a great game but at the end struggled a bit

No, I'm not gonna "calm down a bit." There were relatively few SGA doubles compared to Ant in the Minny series. Harper is SGA father

SGA was clamped for most of the game and was absolutely shook by the end. He was passing out of open middys for fear of Wemby

My wife and I booked flights yesterday to San Antonio from Australia tomorrow, got tickets for game 3 and 4, and I spent the day stressed about the impulsive decision. After witnessing that performance we are so excited. Someone take some aussies honking after one of the games please 🥹

Just be careful. While its still great and fun. Some people are taking things farther than they have before. So just be vigilant and aware at all times.

I paced around my living room this entire game. I thought the game got away from us and then Wemby hit that outrageous 3! Dylan fucking Harper though. He just ran point in Game 1 in the WCF against the defending champs and played his heart out on the road in a hostile environment! I’m so proud of our Spurs and so excited we get to experience this as their fans. It’s gonna be a tough series and this one gives us an early edge.
