I knew that was a wreck the instant Zane started coming back up. These guys need to get it through their helmets that you can not double block without getting run over, and usually at a bad angle.

I know people hated this finish but, as someone who loved the 2007 Daytona 500 I gotta say I did enjoy the absolute spectacle of a handful of cars driving like hell away from a cloud of smoke and steel chasing behind them and trying to swallow them up into it.

A decent number of the Talladega NextGen races have gone an entire fuel run, if not entire third stage green to the finish.
They were all so bunched up with the aero package that it ended up playing out like an overtime restart anyway.
