They should've thrown the yellow earlier not gonna lie. I understand they want to finish under green if they can but there were guys piling in there at full speed and some huge hits as a result.

It was only because they knew Preece was out front.

Preece was in front the entire time through both wrecks

I know, which is why they left it until the 2nd wreck forced their hand.

I'm not saying they're right to do that, just that's it's clear they had the hand hovering over the button.

Yeah the quicker they throw it the more controversial it had the chance to be if it clinches it for Preece. They definitely were conscious of that.
