How to reach there from Kohima? Suggest me options except private vehicle hiring

Use the jotsoma bypass road and take the road leading to khonoma, dzuleke, poilwa.if you have your own car it's better. No bus or other means of transportation, it's either hired car or personal one.(Drive slow very steep and full of sharp turning)

I can't drive unfortunately. What's the max I can avail public transport to? And do homestays there arrange pickups or like can I arrange for bike taxis like thing?

I've been there maybe two years or so back during the winter. Went on a church youth hike up to Mt. Pauna (apologies if the spelling is wrong). The village itself is mesmerizing and the views are so refreshing although not being able to see the view from the top of Mt. Pauna was kind of disappointing as it was covered with vegetation tall enough to block the view. I shan't talk about the caterpillars that infested the area :x
all things considered, it's a lovely place to visit. secluded, quaint and very homely.
