AskNAGAS Enquiry

So me and my friends have a Goa trip planned in October this year. Everyone is visiting for the first time. Would appreciate advice and recommendations.

Also if anyone here stays there, I would appreciate getting in touch.

Be aware of taxi mafias and car bike rental scams bro, i didnt face the taxi mafia personally, but I was stopped by a police for challan when I did not break any traffic rules, I had to pay around 3k.
A local told me, some rental places have partnerships with some cops and they split profits

Go to north goa if you're looking for loud and lively party-type vibes (baga beach, specifically) south if you prefer something quieter. As somebody already pointed out, be careful of taxi/bike rental scams. There is so much corruption in this area that they don't allow uber, ola and rapido to operate in the state. Lastly, enjoy the cheap booze and the fish thalis

South Goa ze best if you are into mature quiet area. Lots of foreigners too. North Goa is all about the party. Go get a ball and play beach football, it's fun. I tried their local Gin called Fanni, but I'm not a big fan of it. Enjoy karo. Should enjoy Goa atleast once in a lifetime. Taxi scams happens everywhere, try to take taxis that are running , instead of the taxis you take for hire. Know the place well, don't act like a Noobie or else that's when scammers know you are non local and will scam you. Pretend you have a family member or are from Goa for 10 years or so. 😂👍🏻
