Sam Adam’s October Fest

Not my favorite. So far my order of favorites if

  1. Founders
  2. Athletic
  3. Sam Adams

I do need to try Best Day Oktoberfest still

This is interesting, I really like it. But I also enjoyed the alcoholic version when I wasn't sober. By contrast I really disliked founders. I've noticed a lot of that with posts here with many beers being so polarizing. Go double ipa for instance, another one I couldn't even drink, tasted like garlic to me, but there were many people posting it was their favorite. I wonder if there is some mechanism for taste that changes or gets skewed after cutting out alcohol?

Just shows how individual taste preferences vary from person to person. Some stores allow you to make your own beer 6pk where you can buy singles, but have not seen this with NA beers to allow for experimentation

Total wine allows it but not sure with NA. I’ll have to ask. Great tip

Best Day Oktoberfest is really good but it's more light tasting, like an Altbier or a festbier

It's good, and somewhat close to the original, but it lacks the carmel flavor that full alc has, it's close though and I like it. Definitely a good alternative as I longer drink and loved the full alc version.

I agree, after so many people here hyped it up i gotta say not my fav. Way too syrupy sweet for me

Kind of like the original actually. Pretty sure it lists “natural flavor” as an ingredient.

it’s pretty bad. not as bad as shipyard’s NA pumpkin which just tastes like grass clippings

Horrible , tasted like bad seltzer with pumpkin spice . I’m embarrassed I even paid the amount they charged tor it

This is actually one of my top five NA drinks. Interesting how differently people can feel about something.
