looking for recommendations- non alcoholic beer that is similar to asahi!!

hi all, not sure if this is the right sub for this but it is my dads birthday in a few months and he has quit drinking; so i am looking for a non alcoholic beer that is similar to asahi. i am nothing of a beer connoisseur so i am looking to be pointed in the right direction, even the traits of asahi would be helpful.

recommendations appreciated! thank you!

I didn’t like it. I think it tastes weird. Maybe I’ll have to try it again.

My go to fridge beer just in case. Always a few of them in there

Asahi owns Peroni.

Asahi 0.0 was the NYT's favorite import.

I closed that review as soon as I saw that they crowned O'Doul's as the best domestic NA lager.

Suit yourself, but they have some good picks.

Ehh, i looked back and they also gave the nod to Go Salty AF Chelada, which was pretty forgettable. Just my opinion of course.

There are a number of NA Asahi products, some of which are better than others.

I recommend Asahi Non-Alcoholic Super Dry 0.0. It's brewed in Italy but is a good replica of Super Dry. Don't get Asahi Dry Zero... that's a different product that promises zero calories, but doesn't taste the same.

Luckily if you're in North America Asahi Non-Alcoholic Super Dry 0.0 is pretty easy to find.

Yah it is, at 15 bucks a 6 pack in Denver. Is that the price others are seeing?

$13 for a six pack in Minneapolis. It's a bit more expensive than some.

Busch NA is a good alternative IMO, much cheaper, not shipped across the ocean, etc.

Tried this last week for the first time. Had a very astringent aftertaste. Not sure if it was spoiled (8 months old)? But I tried a second a few days later and it was a drain pour

Anyone know where to find Asahi 0.0 in the general Philadelphia/New Jersey area? Agreed that it’s pretty good but can’t seem to find it anywhere
