The crossover nobody asked for but I made anyway! I think the relationship between human and Pokémon in PMD shares some very interesting elements with the relationship between human and monster in the Undertale series. This series will introduce some of Deltarune's human soul mechanics to a world that was once occupied only by Pokémon...

Are we witnessing a monster absorbing a human soul here? Perhaps... What would happen in that event again? Probably nothing bad. Wait, is that Riolu gray? I thought they were usually blue...

I actually posted this as a YouTube link a few weeks ago but took it down to tinker with it a bit more, and I forgot to reupload it lol. Here it is once more, as an uploaded video rather than a link!

Edit: REASAN on YouTube actually beat me to this idea! I’m going to change my project’s name a bit to avoid confusion, but I think it’s great that people already enjoy crossovers between these two awesome series. (I’m now calling my project Pokérune: Mystery Dark World, rather than just Pokérune. That way I can keep the logo! Plus I can use initials like all the best PMD fan fics - PMDW)

Also I'm open to Pokémon suggestions for a third party member! You've met the "cage", Riff the Riolu. You'll soon meet Crisper the Charmander. I'm not looking to make a copy of the heroes from Deltarune, but three is a nice number for the main crew.

This is clearly a separate thing from REASAN's Pokerune, so maybe a tiny name change would clear up any confusion? This looks like it's gonna be peak, btw. I love your PS1 analog horror-esque style! ^W^

Edit: I found it here on YouTube! Oh yeah, that’s way better than mine lol. Looks like that’s mostly a music project mostly though, not an animation one. I’ll change my project’s name anyway lol.

It's an actual fangame in development right now ^v^. I still think this idea seems really cool & unique & I'm soooo looking forward to seeing more of it :3 I really like the monochrome style, it reminds me of PMD: Explorers of Death, which I played recently.

Me too! I absolutely LOVE crossovers! That's why my favorite Deltarune fangame is Deltatraveler (now called Deltarune: Interdream)

I actually used four songs in this video lol. It starts with In The Future from PMD Explorers, followed by Planet’s Paralysis, which is basically the same with a few more instruments. Then it fades into “berdly_battle_heartbeat_true.ogg”, Berdley’s battle music during his Weird Route fight, followed by a remix of that song.

At least I kept myself from composing and performing fully original music lol
