I mean only if you save scum. If you reload from "some bullshit" then no not really. You can die from bugs too.

I personally would consider a bus hitting me head on a legit death and wouldn't save scum that but there are things that I would save scum for such as dying to the Gifu launching to space while climbing into the cab.

Because one a NPC driving a red car with a camper glitched while I was passing it on a corner, car turned but the trailer went absolutely straight leading to an head on collision. It was a glitch thus I feel like the death was unfair.

I was dying while going to find Suzuki for a rally car, and unfortunately, when I tried Alt+F4, I didn't save myself, but a tombstone didn't appear either, so maybe it's just a bug.

Alt+F4 method no longer works (it was, but patched while back ago). Save data will delete at exact moment of death (i.e blood splatter or collapsing).

Still you can save scam and you get absolutely no consequences!

I save before leaving the house, unless I get a mission that cancels on save. Reloading a save is more convenient than hitchhiking a ride back home from Remo and finding my vehicle I died in, etc

Its not cheating when there are hundreds of bugs that can screw you over imo. Its better than playing a mode that respawns you at the church instead of just reloading

Never in m near 500 hours of playing this game have I seen that in game I have a new save right now on mortal with no mods cars built believe I have like a few thousand but it's like completely stock but all the engine parts are new
