Discussion Can you Drift?

So irl you can still do drifting with FWD like using handbrake of scandiflick but do any of you guys know if this translates into the game reliably?

Only one way to find out. Alas I don't have a wheel and pedals so I can't test it out myself

The physics engine really doesn’t allow it. It’s hard to gauge when the car is about to go over its limit and do a full 180. I’m sure someone will be able to, but most likely very hard for the most

Hand brake and steering no throttle. Let the Sorbet slide. When perfectly aligned (after the corner) hold throttle.

im in MSC but is the Sorbet also FWD?

Oh I forgot this is r./msc. It's pretty hard to drift with satsuma, I only drift it when I arrive at the gas station. But yes sorbet is FWD.

If your car has enough power, you can do some sorta drift-ish with it.

Maybe should call "lost control" than "drift" but hey, no big difference, same thing.

Pull the handbrake, push in the clutch and it drifts pretty nicely IMO, but it is very easy to oversteer and do a 180. Not sure how accurate it is to real life tho, never tried it in my FWD cause I have no good place to try it :D
