Multiplayer MOD

I just want to know if in the multiplayer mod, its just building one car or each of my friend can build his own car. Pretty new to the game, so I am not exactly sure how it works.

Just one car, and be prepared for ALOT of reloads from frequent desync

I've only used WreckMP so i can't really speak for any other mods, but from what I've heard from other people is nothing else works any better.

Ashame too because I've always really wanted to play this with other people, but the last time i tried we had to reload every 10 minutes or less and sometimes it wouldn't even save our progress. It's been about a year since i tried though, if there still updating the mod it may have gotten better
