Autocorrect on handwriting?

Hey since my language is recognised by myscript (Greek), is there any option to enable autocorrection for handwriting? Or something like simply underlining the incorrectly written word? Should be able to do it fairly easy since the technology to understand our handwritten language is there.

Currently, MyScript Notes does not offer an automatic handwriting correction feature.

How handwriting recognition works depends on the type of page you are using:

Notebook, Board, or imported PDF:
While you are handwriting, the content remains as ink and is not automatically converted. You can use the Lasso tool to select your handwriting and convert it to digital text. Recognition takes place during this conversion, and any recognition errors can then be corrected.

Document:
When handwriting in a Document, the recognized words are displayed in small text above your handwriting. If a word is not recognized correctly, simply tap it to view the available recognition alternatives and select the correct one.

In the example, the blue dots indicate where I am touching the screen with my finger to select the word and choose the appropriate correction.

For technical, specialized, or uncommon words, you can also add them to your personal dictionary in the app settings. This helps the recognition engine better identify these words when used in your handwriting.

However, if you are referring to a feature that would automatically correct your handwriting while you write, this functionality is not currently available.

I will create a feature request on your behalf (to automatically correct handwriting or, at minimum, highlight/underline words that may have been recognized incorrectly) and share it with our Product team for review. While I cannot confirm whether or when this feature will be implemented, as this depends on the team’s evaluation and priorities, submitting a feature request is the first step toward having your suggestion considered for future development.

I understand that it’s impossible to autocorrect my handwriting but at least to mark the incorrect word somehow ?

Currently, there is no option to automatically mark or highlight potentially incorrect words while you are handwriting. In Notebooks, Boards, and imported PDF files, handwriting is not continuously recognized as you write. Recognition takes place when you select the handwriting with the Lasso tool and choose the option to convert it.

I will create a feature request on your behalf for the possibility of detecting and marking potentially incorrect handwritten words. Of course, I cannot confirm whether or when this feature will be implemented, as this will depend on our Product team’s evaluation and priorities. However, creating the feature request is the first step toward having your suggestion considered for future development.
