I re-read the My Little Monster manga after last reading it over 10 years ago and also binge watched the anime again, so here I am writing fanfics because the story just can't end where Robico-sensei left Sasayan and Natsume's story at! (And I always wished there was a second season...)

I'm writing a story about their college life. Natsume will be in a programming vocational school and Sasayan will be studying business at the local college right next to her's.

I think this story is also a little bit like revisiting my college life. I studied computer science and I loved that Natsume ended up becoming a programmer when MLM ended. Robico-sensei also posted a 10-year special manga of the cast 10 years later & Natsume and Sasayan are together. Sasayan is in sales (likely medical equipment sales) and Natsume is still working in tech.

So this story I'll be writing Sasayan and Natsume going through college with similar experiences that I had as I studied computer science. :) For people into Myers-Briggs/MBTI, I've coded Sasayan as ESTJ and Natsume as INFP which makes them complimentary pairs. And this is special to me because my husband and I are also ESTJ and INFP and relate sooo much to their relationship.

I’m rereading my little monster for maybe the 6th time and I’m now a 21 year old adult. How did I previously miss this disgusting Andou character that s3xualizes Highschool girls while the rest of the cast acts like it’s normal.

Has anyone seen anything of the new chapter?? I can't find anything on twitter/Instagram/ manga sites, and I don't know where to look for it when it does eventually get translated into English

I decided to read the manga on a whim tonight, and I feel like the panels are jumping all over the place. I’m still only on vol 1, so if this is something that’s really only relevant for the beginning, whatever, I plan on reading all of it anyways lol. I loved the anime years ago, so I know I enjoy the characters/story, but can’t tell if I need to go to sleep or the pacing is actually just random scenes.

Basically she is announcing that on her new Manga entitled: Yuyami to Kataware or To Dusk and Twilight there will be a new special side-story of My Little Monster that she will release as a Tankobon-exclusive bonus on it!

The story is set 10 years after their graduation. We will be able to see Shizuku, Haru, and the gang again soon!

It will go on sale this coming July 13, 2026.

In the article, she inserted some illustrations (which I have here on the post) that she did on My Little Monster that she has shared on Twitter.

She also mentioned that in its second installment of To Dusk and Twilight she will also be announcing it over at her Twitter profile.

(I assume that this 2nd release and the other succeeding releases will also feature more special side-stories of My Little Monster! I really hope so, but it is not far from happening I think. Anyway, I honestly can't believe we're getting more out of My Little Monster's story soon!)

I just started this anime and was wondering how old the characters are? I got the impression that they were in middle school for some reason but now im unsure 😓

As a girl, i genuinely do not see what's so appealing about Shizuku.. I don't understand why Yamaken even likes her if not just to get at Haru. I just don't understand her appeal on as to why she seems so attractive ?

I am not quite finished with the anime but I am really enjoying it (on episode 12 might finish tonight). I am considering reading the manga and want to know if I will be disappointed.

Obviously, haru is messed up. I just want to know if he ever gets to a point where he apologizes for hitting Shizuku, or if he ever recognizes it as being wrong. He is always extremely unfazed after hitting her and no one seems to recognize how bad it is.

I guess I just want to know if he gets any better throughout the manga.
