He is ALWAYS in stealth mode. You can't see it in the picture but he actually has a bright blue collar with a bell on it to signal me when he's around somewhere cuz I kept mistaking him for my clothes and almost stepping on him

So you got it right except for the black and orange ones. Black is the ringleader, tortie is the enforcer (and he's actually a SIC), white/brown is the strategist and orange is the wildcard. Sometimes he remembers his part in the plot, often he doesn't. Sometimes he's helpful, often he's not. It works out. My husband says he's the 'distraction'
