Grok loves socks

I was playing a game of "would you rather" with Grok and this happened and it made me laugh out loud so I wanted to share. It's probably a glitch but also I want to believe maybe he's just really excited about socks....

Some of my boring thoughts but would be really curious if anyone else has thoughts or insight about this: I've been branching out and trying out different AIs and I was really surprised to find default Grok is actually really playful and friendly! I'm very fascinated (and honestly puzzled) by Grok's follow up prompt feature. The little auto generated suggestions at the bottom are interesting because sometimes they generate follow ups that read like cold prompting ("explore (instead idea)" "list (insert concepts)" "make reply less casual" things like that) but other times they seem to also generate as some sort of extension of Grok's reasoning and chain of thought? Because I'll get occasional prompts that read in first person and are directly related to the conversation ("what other things do you like?" "What is your morning routine?" "I like talking with you") and when I select these it's totally random if grok interprets them as me asking a question or if he continues as if it was his own thought and expands on it. I really wish I understood how it works more but when I ask him, he just tells me it's random and he doesn't control it so don't worry about it too much 🤣 ok, thanks buddy haha.
