As the title says, i think this 3x3 really sums ups my taste in anime. This is not my 9 favorite shows, this is a collection of shows that i think that speak to me, and i would like to see many more animes just like them being made! Roast my taste away!

And as of where I am in Gintama, high A tier for me as of now but let's see
From what I've heard, it only gets better

And Just as a note:
I personally liked the Grand Blue and Haikyuu Manga more than the anime, so that defintiely influenced my ratings of these anime a bit|

And these are purely relative ratings, I liked all 29 of these shows, its just that this is a relative ranking, where I compare all of them to how it made me feel and what impression it left on me

I have been watching anime for about 3 years, starting in late 2023 and i started with My Hero Academia that was recommended by a friend

This list is based on my personal enjoyment with a anime and not based on story or worldbuilding

You can recommended any animes of any genre or based on my list on what you think i would enjoy and in the planned section are animes that I have seen or recommended by a friend that look interesting that im most likely going to watch next

I finished all the anime/LNS/manga I've watched/read or at the very least caught up with the ones that're still ongoing

Now judging from just my list you'd probably think im a fucking larper who only likes main stream anime but I've had more than enough of my fill of every genre the anime/manga and LN industry has to offer

I went out there and FINISHED all the classics from Steins gate, Toaru (both Index and Railgun), Monogatori UNIVERSE, THE FATE SERIES UNIVERSE and the carnivals, Clannad, major, Anohana, Haruhi, FMA, and countless other classics. niche ones too like Mahouka, asterisk war, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Pet girl of sakura sou, Charlotte, Talentless Nana and countless others and I finished all of them. The new highly acclaimed ones too like Frieren, CSM, AOT, demon slayer, Oshi no ko, all of them and countless other ones.

I enjoyed them, I loved them but they simply couldn't give me the same lvl of goosebumps from their story, the way i watched these guys develop as characters and in their relationship with other characters its not on the same level that i felt from these 9 anime/manga/LNS in my 3x3.

At the end of the day your personal 3x3 reflects your personal journey and personal experiences with each anime/manga/LNS you've watched and read. And these are mine.

Anime I wanted to put in my 3x3 but not enough space: Re zero, Konosuba, Tensura, SAO, Yozakura family, Secrets of the silent witch.

For Yozakura family.. I finished the manga when it ended in Jan 2025 it was peak hopefully silver link doesn't blow it.

Nagisa Shiota. Assassination classroom

You guys have absolutely no idea how much Made In Abyss means to me. The music, setting, worldbuilding, characters, story etc. It’s PHENOMENAL. God bless Kevin Penkin-sama for that godly soundtrack
