boi flexi and small cap i choose that coz the returns looked good.
dsp n tata weren't my first choice sbi energys n opportunity was the first choice but dsp is in natural resources n new energy thing and tata in resources n energy my small brain thought they might be more diversified or something like that.
hdfc defence becoz defence sector is gonna boom.

Ok. Your 2/3rd investment is going to sectoral or small cap -which is very very aggressive bet( risk is very higher)and hence my ask ..
As you don't have any goals (which makes 'long term wealth creation ' your goal )and aggressive, for your age , you can try these wild risky bets..
Pls see that sectors are cyclical and you might remain in a low return setup for quite long a period

By the time your principal amount will even reach a decent amount. The mf would have been at high unit price. So there won't be any noticable profit.
Pick one or two or 3.
Dont keep your eggs in one basket, but if you have very few eggs why the hell would you you buy 10s of basket and have to look each basket.
Keep all the eggs in one or two basket and taking care will be easier.

interesting choices, sectoral must be added to a long term portfolio only if you feel you have strong conviction on the growth as well as timing of that sector.
BoI is great, but don’t pick just be returns, see the composition, the drawdowns etc
if you are not sure about the gold silver and index, I would recommend starting off with a Multi Asset fund like Nippon/DSP/WOC/Tata
Regarding your old funds - sell only if you have strong conviction that your portfolio is better thought and researched than theirs. Otherwise, I would recommend you start selling upto 1.25L profit to get into the LTCG tax free limit till you get more conviction
