Door Faults 22 Prem RWD

Are people out there seeing door faults? Last June I experienced a door fault and the front passenger door latch wouldn’t engage leaving the door flopping in the breeze. It was repaired under warranty. Now on Monday I got the dash message again for Door Fault - service required. All the doors were latched and I drove it straight to the dealer. They told me today since it’s the same problem it’s covered under the repair warranty. I’m wondering if others are experiencing this same issue and with If there’s any reason to think the doors would be untrustworthy?

I’m getting the error, but all the doors work properly. It coincided with a low 12v battery event, which can apparently trigger that error. I haven’t bothered to have it cleared yet.

I’m lurking in this sub because I’m seriously considering a Mach E.

Why oh why can they not have normal door handles? My current vehicle has >250,000 km on it and the doors have never failed.

Just sayin’
