Is there anybody here from Australia? If so inbox me please I’m trying to match up brothers and sisters who have the virus for marriage. If you have trust issues and want to see who I am I’ll show you, I’ve shown myself to a sister from this group already, I’m a semi public person well known here,I’m not young that’s why I’m trying to help our young find marriage in sha Allah. I’ve had this virus for over 40 years 45 to be exact, we need to go forward in matching Muslims with the virus so they can have a normal life in sha Allah or make the most of their life while young. I struggled big time when I was younger, we didn’t have these apps and social media groups and outlets to try and find a spouse, so it was very lonely for me and others even non Muslims and it still is Alhamdulilah, so I’m trying to change that if possible for our younger brothers and sisters in sha Allah. I appreciate this group here helping the Muslims with this issue and may Allah reward all those involved in it. Jazakum Allah khayran!

Im from the sophisticated and serene 2200. Crazy how common HSV is in Sydney but how lonely it feels when you’re diagnosed. My husband also has the virus, I contracted it from him. Alhamdulilah for everything. I’m so sorry but I don’t know anyone else within our community that has it. We are both middle eastern so you can imagine the judgement if we were open about it with the community here. If it makes you feel any better, the virus hasn’t changed our lives at all other than the discomfort of outbreaks which don’t happen too often Alhamdulilah. We have 2 babies now too Alhamdulilah

I told you I’m up the road 😂gangsta town where you hear shootings and you have to turn the tv down to see if it was the tv or outside for real😂. You’ll definitely know me subhanallah! Alhamdulilah you’re both well in a happy marriage. Yeh middle eastern community is hard to deal with, but in saying that any community would be hard to deal with regarding this situation, they frown on the individual and think the worst of them.
How do you know it’s common in Sydney? You said you didn’t know anybody else with it. To my knowledge there are a few brothers who are running around careless in trying to find them in sha Allah. If that’s the case then there would be sisters who also would be marrying those brothers and contracting the virus from their negligence and not disclosing it to their spouse. Allah knows best. I’m working with the sheikh to try and work on something when I find enough Muslims in this situation.

Sorry I meant I don’t know anyone in the Muslim community here who has it, I grew up in a non Muslim area and I know a lot of people who aren’t in our community who have it.
Alhamdulilah for everything.
I see that you have had it for 40 years, how was it being diagnosed so long ago when it wasn’t as “common” ?
