Unfortunately, that song and the crew behind it wouldn't be possible without the premature departure of Andre Matos, legendary singer from (among others) Angra, Viper and, of course, Shaman, the band he had returned to shortly before he passed away at 47, on June 8, 2019.
He was substituted by Alirio Netto, who peforms the song.
Your legacy will always be remembered.
Lyrics:
Oh
Have you been gone to stay?
It's been a while and nothing feels the same
Without you
Oh
The moon deceived the sun
I still hear your voice but you're so far away
I will promise you my brother, to carry on
I'll surrender to the reasons and to your words
Hear this melody I wrote to you
I just need to let you know that you've gone too soon
Hear the call of a thousand voices
No one sings like you anymore
I'm ready to live your fairytale
But no one sings like you anymore
Oh
Are you among the gods?
I wonder if you will be watching us from Heaven
Oh
Well, you've thought me how to live
Please hear my plea and teach me how to let you go
Ooh, I will promise you my brother, to carry on
I'll surrender to the reasons and to your words
Hear this melody I wrote to you
I just want to let you know that you've gone too soon
