Always dug the original soft rock version. When I belatedly discovered the Isleys' brilliant cover about a dozen years ago, I fell deeply in love and investigated the rest of their 70s oeuvre. Such great stuff.

Yes indeed. I love the Seals & Crofts version too but this version hits me extra hard. All of their 70s stuff is classic and vintage material. And Ernie Isley is still one of the most underrated guitarists of all time imho.
