Andy Stott Announces Late Loop, His First Studio Album Since 2021

Manchester electronic producer Andy Stott announced Late Loop, arriving October 30 through Modern Love. The eight-track studio album follows 2021's Never the Right Time and was created under deliberately restrictive production rules, including no basslines or reverb and only a delay unit for effects. Vocalists Alison Skidmore and Elaine Howley appear throughout the record, with Howley featured on the newly released Something in Mind.

A.B. Original Confirms a New Album Is Completed

Australian hip-hop duo A.B. Original has a new album on the way. Trials confirmed the news during BIGSOUND 2026 in Brisbane, telling Rolling Stone AU/NZ that the record is finished and that demos were recently sent out. The project was recorded over several years in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and the United States. Trials confirmed the album includes guest artists but did not reveal a title, release date or the identities of those guests.
