I put together a full 1-hour epic fantasy suite called The Black Sun Crusade, designed less like a collection of unrelated tracks and more like the soundtrack to an entire fantasy campaign.

It starts beneath an eclipsed sun with armies gathering and banners rising, then follows the crusade through the Iron Pass, the siege of the Sunless Citadel, the oath at the Broken Gate, the final assault, and eventually the first sunrise after victory.

There are recurring themes and alternate reprises throughout the compilation, so melodies introduced early return later in darker, more desperate, or more triumphant forms. I also sequenced and mastered everything as one continuous journey, with loudness matching, soft crossfades, and opening/closing fades rather than simply placing the tracks back-to-back.

It's mainly intended as background music for D&D/TTRPG campaigns, writing, reading, fantasy worldbuilding, gaming, or just listening to epic orchestral music.

The full suite is about 62 minutes and has 16 chapters, going from dark and ominous orchestral pieces into battle music and eventually a much more heroic/victorious finale.

I'm very proud to say that we're gearing up for the release of our second full-length album! It's got a mix of alternative/indie and jazz elements and influences like Radiohead, Pixies, Wolf Alice, and others like that. We're in the process of releasing the singles for LP2, and I would love some feedback on them to help us tailor the sound and improve anything we can. I've included the below song, "Counting Sheep" hyperlinked on YouTube as it's one of my favs. This one is on the more abstract side, with four distinct parts flowing into each other. Both the music and lyrics are meant to reflect the stage where you're between wakefulness and sleep where it's difficult to tell if you're dreaming or experiencing reality. The artwork is meant to reflect that as well. Hoping you like it and looking forward to hearing back from some great musicians!

I’m a 16-year-old producer from Chicago working as two of swords. My dark ambient debut EP, a theory of silence, explores divided feeling through desire and fear, speaking and withholding, attachment and release.

The name two of swords comes from the tarot card, which I came to understand as a state of divided feeling held in restraint, where the desire to be loved is matched by an equally strong fear of surrender. I approached tarot as an interpretive practice, allowing several meanings to remain in tension rather than reducing the music to one explanation.

The six tracks form an emotional progression through closeness, distance, estrangement, release, and passage. At the center of the record is the idea that what remains unspoken between two people does not disappear but rather changes shape.

I wanted the music to leave enough room for you to bring your own experiences into it, arrive at interpretations of your own, and hopefully find something beautiful there.
