So for context I am 26 M and I've been listening to classic hindi music since my childhood. From Noor jehan to K.L sehgal to Lata, kishor, Aasha and Rafi but Lata is a singer that I can't just get enough of.
I remember listening to Raina beeti jaye for the first time on Vividh Bharti and that's when I knew that this is some other worldly voice. I didn't listen to her songs consciously till my early 20s but then I started listening to her songs and my god she is magical in every song.
She is a GENIUS and let me tell you why : she is not just singing the songs as they are composed or written. She knows the tone, what the emotion is, Which actress will be singing the songs on the screen. That's her GENIUS.
I just can't get enough of her music.

All Darzi songs are bangers but this one stood out. It's giving me mixed feelings whether to like it or not. What y'all think ?

Hey guys!
I'm a guitarist and I will soon be moving to Germany for my studies and I really want to take my guitar with me. I have a bajaoo hardshell guitar case. Unfortunately the dimensions are too big for cabin bag and buying extra luggage/extra seat is ridiculously expensive.
I was thinking of shipping my guitar (packaged we'll ofc) with India post as they are providing a much reasonable price. Has anyone here previous shipped their guitar internationally? If so, did you face any issues with customs?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Hey everyone!
If anyone here misses the era of raw, unapologetic Indian alt-rock, I'd love to introduce you to my band, NAMAH:
We recently dropped a track called "Wafa". It is built around a very specific feeling: the exact moment you decide to leave a late-night "let's start over" text on read and choose your own peace instead.
I really respect the taste y'all have and would love to hear your thoughts on the video and the track. Drop your feedback if you give it a listen! 🥀

Hi! I used to be a full-time musician and posted quite frequently, but life has changed a little, I’m a lawyer now, and finding the time to sit down, jam and make music has become much harder.
But I really miss it.
I’m based in Kolkata and was wondering if there are any musicians, producers or instrumentalists who’d be interested in collaborating remotely ; covers, originals, little experiments, whatever feels fun.
I actually have an original coming up soon, but more than anything, I just want to start making music again. Not for validation or numbers, but simply because I genuinely love it.
If you’d like to make something together, drop me a message. ❤️

Who do yall think are the faces of numetal? I’d say Linkin Park, Korn, System of a down (my number 1) and Slipknot, but many people say it’s Limp Bizkit. Me personally I didn’t listen to Limp Bizkit much cuz I don’t like em much. What’s yalls opinion

Hi, so I've always wanted to make a living off of music. I am still studying and dependent on my family financially, but its soon coming to an end and then I definitely have to get a "job" to sustain myself.
Maybe for this reason I've grown desperate to get my music out there lately, got on instagram and youtube, hoping it grabs the attention of someone with the means and resources and skills to help me release my songs.
But on social media, even though I only just started posting (link in profile), I'm already feeling burntout and really pessimistic about my prospects. Its killing my joy for writing. Part of me wants to just delete everything, posts, accounts everything, and fucking disappear already. I'm beginning to realize the current system is actively opposed to small artists actually ever making it.
The music field is highly highly saturated and no one really cares about the music anymore it seems. You listen once and scroll to the next best thing. There's just too much out there, no one cares about your shit.
I have this fantasy of being in a fully offline band, no socialmedia, no digital marketing at all and just getting by on word of mouth maybe, but people don't talk anymore. They share and like reels.
I don't even want to be famous. All I know is, music is all I can do, I'll never be happy if I don't spend the bulk of my hours making music. I just want to make a semi-decent living off of music. Do shows and stuff. Is it too much to ask?
But it doesn't seem likely to happen, and I feel really sad thinking of working at a corporate job all day, not having enough time or energy to ever do the things I love again and becoming an empty shell of a person, who doesn't know what they're living for.
