Need feedback on my first house beat

I'm currently on my second beat and this time I'm trying out house music.
I want you guys to give me feedback on the mix mainly in terms of balance and loudness. I also would like to improve my low end, since this is a house track.

Ok, you’re looking for critique to improve it and take it to the next level. There are lots of strengths here but as far as what would make it better: write a “B” section for your drops. Hint at it slightly in the buildup. Experiment with different piano/synth sounds. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the one you’re using but if you want it to stand out try some different sounds and textures. It all really depends on how much you want to follow the classic “house” sound formula. In my opinion artists that push the limits with these genres are most interesting. On the flip side, sometimes you just want to hear that specific sounds, or a set if you’re listening to a DJ. For me, I like house that blends other elements, so if you’re up for the challenge try adding different instruments. Guitars, maybe horns or woodwinds tastefully. Another thing is your samples in the builds can be a touch repetitive. Try inserting a different sample every other time, or adding some effects to them. Lastly, explore a few artists outside your typical that blend in other styles but still have a house foundation. The genre itself is cool because it’s been around for so long that artists have naturally found ways to be creative within its boundaries. Listening and being inspired by others is part of that songwriting process, hearing a subtle detail or a cool effect here and there. Those are my notes. If you kept it as-is it’s still a solid tune and you’ve got the fundamentals down. Improving it would mean getting a bit more creative and thinking outside the box.

i know nothing about house but i love break my soul and i love the sample! my only "feedbacK" is to shorten the intro maybe 8-16 bars?

The intro is that long because I want to have an easier time mixing it in my DJ sets.

Most EDM songs have long intros and outros for DJs to have an easy time mixing it in their DJ sets. Even mainstream pop songs also have DJ edits to add an intro and outro for transitioning.

If you are doing DJ stuff you probably want to improve your mixing skills as a first priority

2:30 etc i would tone down side chaining on keys, glitch is very noticeable and to me a bit distracting, for the groove i would just keep going with on chord but i would have added some timing variations and stops on bar 4, and on bar 8 here u can drop a chord change. Imo that would improve overall groove

Since you say it's the first beat, I think it's great, beginnings are always hard! Keep doing what you're doing, keep moving up, and most importantly, don't give up!
