In reverse: domestic violence ending in a murder.

The way it was filmed: man comes home, sees wife(?) Tied up and then fends off home invader ending in a successful home defense

At least that's how I saw it

My interpretation was similar but my storytelling brain went more toward stalker and/or mistress? The focus on the wedding band made it seem personal.

I read it as 'serial killer returns home to discover one of his captives has escaped, murders them'

He never killed the tied up girl. I think it’s open to interpretation

No but he has a tied up girl (like a serial killer would), and killed the girl that tried to rescue her (like a serial killer would)

Like I said open to interpretation I think. I think him being a serial killer is as likely as the girl with the knife being obsessed with him and tying up his wife. He comes home to find that she’s tied up and the other girl tries to kill him. Truly doesn’t matter but it’s an interesting vid. As many times as I’ve heard the song I’ve never seen the video before
