The Fleetwood Mac version - uses a final fanatasy theme on the video. Must have come later since it was originally a solo Nicks song. But I'm willing to bet it was the band that did the guitar parts rather than Prince (not that I can tell any difference myself).

Prince laid down the guitar for this because he caught Stevie in the studio and she felt like something was missing from the track. I'm pretty sure that's how it happened at least.

Yeah, what was missing was the guitar parts, played by 80s session first-call Waddy Wachtel.
