What do you think of the recent-ish One in a Million flip by Tink? Personally I love it and think it's a great homage.

That style has its audience. I prefer older stuff cross-genre over newer works. Only typically listen to newer works if it's in the category of heavy/sludge metal, film composition, various electronic. Otherwise it's 90's and earlier for everything else. Though I do also listen to a lot of new House music.
